TikTok has taken the world by storm. The social media platform is quickly becoming a top destination for young consumers and brands looking to connect with them. Its rapid growth means there’s still time to get in on the action and attract new customers who are buying what you’re selling using First Page Digital TikTok services. TikTok’s fun, quirky nature makes it easy to stand out from competitors — if you know how to do it right.

If you’re not sure how to approach marketing on TikTok, start by following these three tips for making your products stand out:

    Why TikTok?

Although Instagram and YouTube are both popular platforms, TikTok is still a newer platform with big opportunity for brands.

On the surface, it looks like a simple platform where users upload short videos. However, it’s important to know that TikTok has some unique features that make it stand out from other social media sites.

One of the biggest differences between TikTok and other platforms is that it’s built around a feature called the For You page (FYP). The FYP is automatically generated for each user based on their interests and interactions with the app. If you’ve seen an ad or video on TikTok, chances are, you saw it on your FYP.

The FYP is created by a complex algorithm that determines which videos to show each user based on an ever-changing set of factors (not all of which are publicly known). This means that while posting videos can help get your product in front of more people, you’ll want to do more than just post content regularly. The more active you are on the platform — liking, sharing and commenting — the more relevant your content will be to others.

    1. Get creative with your videos

Having fun is the name of the game on TikTok. It’s not just about sharing polished videos with professional-quality lighting — it’s also about showing off your personality, making people laugh and inspiring them with ideas for how they can use your product in their lives.

One of the biggest trends on TikTok is making tutorials for DIY projects, but there are lots of other ways for brands to get creative with their videos. For example, one brand used TikTok to show how its customers can repurpose old clothes by creating a new dress out of T-shirts and leggings using only scissors and glue. Another company showed how its shoes are made by taking viewers behind the scenes at its factory.

    2. Know Your Audience

TikTok’s users are primarily Gen Zers — those who were born in 1996 or later. According to Statista, approximately 70% of TikTok’s users are between 16 and 24 years old. That means you’ll want to create content that appeals to this generation’s sensibilities.

A good way to do this is by following popular trends on the platform and creating content based on these trends. For instance, you might use one of TikTok’s many filters available when creating your video. You could also create content that uses one of the platform’s popular hashtags.

    3. Showcase Your Brand with Influencers

User-generated content (UGC) is a great way to market your brand. That’s because people tend to trust their peers more than they trust a brand. That’s why influencer marketing has become so popular — it helps companies reach larger audiences by getting popular users to promote their brand.

And if you’ve never worked with influencers before, TikTok is the perfect place to start. You can collaborate with them on creating content that shows off your product in an interesting way. Just make sure that you pick influencers who are a good fit for your brand and whose audience would be interested in what you have.
