Meditating is an activity that needs you to focus your thoughts to reach a level of calmness and clear your mind. Here are some benefits of meditating in your Robertson Opus condo.

    Reduce stress

Meditating can reduce stress as it lowers cortisol and improves other symptoms that are related to stress, PTSD or post-traumatic stress disorder, fibromyalgia, and IBS or irritable bowel syndrome. It may also help relieve pain and alleviate symptoms from people who have experienced these.

    Better sleep

If you have trouble sleeping you might want to try meditating because it is about relaxation. You practice your breathing to calm the nervous system, thus reducing stress so you can get better sleep. It becomes easier to do so, while duration and slee quality are improved.

    Improve your memory

Meditating can improve your memory if you do it regularly, letting you memorize things more and improve your mental clarity. These benefits are applicable to people who have trouble remembering things or people who are going up in age and are battling against memory loss that comes with age like dementia. It also promotes a longer span of attention and better concentration.

    Be compassionate

You can be more compassionate if you meditate regularly. You can use this to understand yourself more and on a deeper level able to touch into the best version of yourself. This will lead you to have a more positive outlook on life. You will feel good about yourself and will be nicer to other people through actions.

    Self Awareness

Meditation improves mindfulness, allowing you to be more aware of yourself and your surroundings. You can reflect, gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your actions, manage emotions better, and find out where your stress is coming from to eliminate or effectively reduce it.
