    Make Time For Yourself

    The number one way to improve emotional health is to make time for yourself. If you enjoy long bubble baths or getting your hour in at the gym then try to prioritise time for that every single day. Self care is often used to describe pamper sessions and spa days yet for many of us self care is something as little as enjoying your favourite meal or dedicating time to one of your favourite hobbies. By making time for yourself you’re well on your way to improving your emotional health.

    Rid Yourself of Toxic People

    Often easier said than done, removing toxic people from your life is a great step to take if you feel yourself becoming emotionally drained. You should think about how interactions with those around you are making you feel and identify which people are causing your to feel emotionally unwell. Sometimes it can even be over platforms like Facebook so don’t be afraid of giving your friendlist a little clear out!

    Keep an Eye On Your Physical Health

    If you’re constantly feeling unwell then you will be feeling emotionally burdened. Be sure to visit a doctor if you find yourself battling daily symptoms that are starting to lower your mood regularly. Mental health and physical health are both important factors in determining how you feel emotionally.     Surround Yourself With Positivity

    For some of us it is absolutely crucial to have a village of supportive people around us. This extends into our romantic lives so try to find people who value you and lift you up instead of bring you down.
