A dead vehicle battery is a starting fault that most people experience. This article will go into a review of AUXITO’s new J101 Jump Starter, a compact device that combines a 2000 lumen LED light panel light with 2500A of starting power, and is definitely worth a permanent place in your trunk or backpack.

Unboxing
First of all, the packaging is really nice! This is like a really thick heavy-duty box it might be a small detail, but when it comes to the packaging, I think it really shows how a company wants to portray themselves. In addition to the jumper cable, user manual, and a charging cable, there’s a nice little drawstring pouch here that would be nice to keep it there and then you can toss it wherever you store it in the vehicle.

2. It has two hooks on it so you can take that and obviously hang it on something in the hood or a wire or something like that.

4. If I plug in the little USB cable here it turns into a battery pack, so I can charge some type of mobile device, such as a cell phone, computer, drone, or camera on the go.

AUIXTO J101 Jump Starter Test
I drained the vehicle’s battery and successfully started the 3.5L 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD.
For the past couple hours, I’ve been running some lights and some power in the truck hoping I could kill the battery. The battery is dead and clicking and the vehicle isn’t turning over so I’m going to try to start it.
I followed the instructions that came with it and it seems very simple, just press the power button to check the battery level, you want to make sure that if you start the car you have at least 50% or more charge (at least two of the indicator lights are on). Next plug in the starter cable and connect it to the battery (positive to positive, negative to negative), and then it’s time to jump in the truck and start it, it works beautifully, just as promised!
*One thing to note here: It says in the instructions that you need to charge this pack up at least every 3 months and it’s a little bit of a bummer.
I know most people that want to run these and just toss them in the truck. You want it to just be out of sight out of mind and be ready to go when you need it. But with something like this, you’d have to remember to check on it once every couple of months and make sure there’s enough juice in this thing. so it’ll be ready when you do need it. But this is not a problem with the J101, I checked most jump starters on the market and most of them are recommending a 3-month charge.
The LED panel light is perfect for tent lighting during a weekend camping trip or for checking out the engine at night.
Turn it on and press and hold the power button on the side for a few seconds the LED lights up, it’s very bright and has 4 modes to choose from. Because there are magnets and hooks on the back here, and we’re working under the hood, you can take this thing and stick it up to the underside of the hood to shine down in the engine bay. If you’re stuck on the side of the road and trying to do some work on the truck, this light can come in handy for those situations.
