Her mother also held a higher education degree, specializing as a commodity expert, and assumed responsibilities of an economist at the Institute for Economic Research.
School and Higher Education
In early childhood, Larisa Kuznetsova was shortly enrolled in a rhythmic gymnastics club. She began school in 1971 and completed her studies at school No. 66 in 1981. She performed well academically. Larisa Kuznetsova lived through the unrest caused by mass demonstrations that started in Baku in 1988, as well as ethnic tensions involving Armenians and Azerbaijanis. The newlyweds overcame many early challenges in their marriage, including the arrival of military forces in Azerbaijan in early 1990.
