The Spanish company has been one of the standout participants at the EAS 2025 Congress in Greece, positioning itself as the European benchmark in clinical training and case planning with aligners.
Rhodes was the setting for a new demonstration of the international reach of Smart Aligner Services (SAS), the only Spanish company present at the European Aligner Society (EAS) Annual Meeting 2025. With a booth that attracted more than 600 doctors from around the world, SAS has reinforced its position as a leader in clinical education for orthodontists working with clear aligners.
SAS was not only the only Spanish representative, but also the only educational company sharing the exhibition space with the major brands in the sector. Its presence did not go unnoticed: booth number 14 out of 17 total was one of the most visited at the event. The key to this success: a comprehensive, international educational proposal with a 100% clinical focus.
International training with top-level mentors
The “SAS Method” program drew great interest from attendees. It is a personalized 12-month mentorship that includes one-to-one sessions, group case reviews, direct access to the clinical team, and an online content platform with over 60 hours of training, including the latest developments in the field.
One of SAS’s greatest strengths is its team of mentors—internationally renowned orthodontists who provide training both in English and in their native languages. During the European Aligner Society (EAS) congress, several of these mentors were present at the SAS booth: Andrea Conigliaro, Ricardo Capuozzo, Stefano Marini, and Elvira Antolín, among others.
Clinical recognition on a European scale
The highlight of the congress came with the awarding of the Best Clinical Case certified by EBAO to Andrea Conigliaro, a mentor on the SAS team. This distinction recognized the most complete and clinically outstanding case among all those presented by doctors certified by the European Board of Aligner Orthodontics (EBAO).
Andrea’s award, along with the certifications obtained this year by Conigliaro and Stefano Marini (joining the previous achievement of Ricardo Capuozzo), demonstrates SAS’s strong commitment to academic excellence and the high clinical level of its faculty.
“The award given to Andrea, along with the other EBAO certifications earned by our mentors, is a reflection of the clinical rigor and high standards we uphold at SAS. Our mentors don’t just teach—they lead by example,” said Dr. Luis González, co-founder of the company.
A scalable and multicultural education model
The SAS Method offers a 12-month clinical mentorship that includes one-on-one sessions, group case reviews, direct access to top-level clinicians, and over 60 hours of online content. The faculty includes more than 20 internationally recognized orthodontists, many certified by EBAO, who provide instruction in both English and the native language of each doctor—adapting to the real-world needs of a global professional community.
Educational publishing and upcoming events
During the congress, SAS presented its new book “Transverse Discrepancies with Clear Aligners”, written by Dr. Luis González. A copy was given free of charge to attendees as a reflection of the brand’s educational and rigorous approach.
Additionally, SAS announced its upcoming in-person events in Milan, Madrid, and Valencia—events that combine high-level training with networking and social experiences highly appreciated by attendees. These gatherings are part of SAS’s commitment to global expansion and community building.
A benchmark in the clear aligner sector
After its participation at the AAO Meeting in Philadelphia and its consolidation in Europe, Smart Aligner Services is positioning itself as the go-to company for doctors seeking to improve their clinical mastery with aligners and gain more confidence in their daily practice.
With over 20,000 planned cases and a rapidly growing international network, Smart Aligner Services continues to set the standard for clinical excellence in clear aligner training. From Spain to the world, SAS is proving that excellence, rigor, and close support are the pillars of sustained and widely recognized growth in the orthodontic education sector.
