Dogs are great to have around the house. They can interact, provide much-needed stress relief, and serve as faithful companions. If you’re thinking of owning one as you move to your Aurelle of Tampines condo, consider these small dog breeds.

    Pomeranian

Pomeranians have very fluffy fur and a round body with a large, similarly rounded face having a fox-like appearance with buttonlike eyes and nose. They are considered very energetic breeds as they always want to play with you. They require lots of grooming to maintain their cute appearance. They can be very noisy, however, because when they see an unsuspecting stranger, they can bark at them nonstop.

    French Bulldog

The French bulldog has a big square or oval-faced appearance over a big, fat body. They have short, stubby legs, a very pressed snout, and may have brown or black eyes depending on the characteristics of the breed. They are well known for their funny-looking faces with long ears sticking upwards and short snouts.

    Yorkshire Terrier

The Yorkshire Terrier or Yorkies, are a well-known breed of dog that has very silky fur, a medium-sized snout, and a brown, hairy face that slightly resembles Chewbacca from Star Wars. It has a gray-colored body with short legs and long or short tails. Yorkshire Terriers are small in size and they hunt critters like rats and other nasty pests.

    Shih Tzu

The Shih tzu has a furry body with short, stumpy legs, a big, round, face with a button-like nose and big, round eyes and short snout. The Shih tzu is an affectionate, friendly and lively companion dog. The Shih tzu was nicknamed “the lion dog” due to its cute and similar facial appearance.

    Mini Poodle

Poodles come in different sizes- Miniature, Standard, and Giant poodles. We’re only picking the mini poodle for this article, however, which would be perfect for condo living. This breed has curly fur and big, round faces with flat ears sticking to their sides. They have short stubby legs or long, thin legs. They are energetic, lively breeds and will require lots of pet playtime.
