    New York Jets wide receiver Denzel Mims is keen to move on after seeing his chances of being a starter for the struggling NFL franchise continue to fade. The 2020 draft pick believes he deserves more of a prominent role in Robert Saleh’s plans, but he could be fighting a losing battle in that regard, even after impressing in pre-season action.

    The Jets experienced something of an upturn in fortunes in 2021, albeit only in relation to their usual poor form. Saleh’s side doubled their win tally from two to four.

    An upbeat Jets fan may now feel confident enough to consider backing their team, and in order to make the most of such a bet, it’s important to note the pros and cons of all the leading sportsbooks. That’s precisely what this WynnBet NY review does, and as a possible provider worthy of your betting dollars, this might be a good place to start.

    Frustrated, Mims finds himself behind Corey Davis, Elijah Moore, and Garrett Wilson but doesn’t feel that he’s been given enough of a chance to prove himself and isn’t afraid to voice his concerns.

    The Jets find themselves with six receivers in their 53-man roster, and Mims is unlikely to feature in the Jets opener on September 11th against the Baltimore Ravens, and though he is ready to up his game, he knows he may be fighting a losing cause;

    “Of course, I’m going to be frustrated that I’m not playing with the starters, but I’ve got to continue to work,”

    Proving his willingness to fit in wherever Saleh feels he can help, Mims added;

    “I have no problem playing special teams, I don’t at all, but I feel like I’m a starting receiver,”

    As if to hammer home his commitment to the Jets, Mims turned in a superb display in a preseason game against the New York Giants, catching for 102 yards and claiming a touchdown, this followed news that the 24-year-old Texan’s agent had released a statement demanding his client be traded.

    Mims is yet to score an NFL touchdown, but that’s chiefly due to the fact he hasn’t been given enough of a chance to do so. After all, in two seasons with the Jets, he’s managed just 31 receptions, and that’s not really enough of a benchmark from which he can build.
