It is necessary to take into account all the expenses that it will entail because you will need Internet access, digital tools, a website… In addition to being able to cover all the taxes and payments resulting from the activity itself.

    Yes, it is true that, today, social networks can help you access your customers and close sales, but sooner or later you will need a website. Your website will be like your local at street level. A “virtual house” that not only serves to inform your clients of who you are and what you offer, but also helps you attract potential clients through e-mail marketing. And now yes, after giving you these details, here are the first steps you need to follow to create a digital business:

    Choose a market niche

    The niche is the focus and the focus is vital for your business. When choosing a niche, it is easier to offer more specific products or services and target a specific type of ideal customer. That is to say: instead of offering a thousand different things at the same time to a great variety of people, we must specify as much as possible. That will be the way to differentiate ourselves. But beware! Do not think that by specifying your business more you will be missing out on opportunities. Selling everything to everyone is when you don’t really know what you do and people won’t be able to differentiate you.

    Define what your business model will be

    This step is closely linked to the previous one. In this part we will have to think about how we are going to generate income in our digital business, what is our value proposition, who are our clients and how are we going to reach them. To define your business model well, it is essential that you detect the needs of your client, so you will be able to design your proposal based on what reality is like for your client.

    Define goals you want to achieve

    Being clear about your short, medium and long-term objectives will be the way to define your strategy, that is: the steps to follow to reach them. One of the first objectives to set when starting is to get the first customers. Put aside more technical things like your logo or your social network account and try to go out and sell by focusing your efforts well and managing your energy properly. Your business can survive with those things that you can improve in the future, but it will not survive without customers.
