There have been many positive Macropay reviews online about the services that the firm provides. However, this time, the Macropay team lends a helping hand amid the current onslaught of the ongoing war in Eastern Europe. The financial services provider is bringing attention and financial support to address the needs of people in Ukraine.
Coming Together to Help
Last year was rough for everyone, and the first quarter of 2022 is not looking any better. The year started with threats from the Omicron variant, violent riots, skyrocketing inflation, and the Russian army’s attack on Ukraine. But hope is not lost. Many people from various parts of the world have taken it upon themselves to help out where they can. Macropay is one of those that chose to bring much-needed support to Ukraine.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Macropay, Adam Clarke, the team expresses their deepest sympathy and support for Ukraine. Clark mentions that they “stand with the victims of the ongoing war in Ukraine.”
“What is happening in Ukraine is very heartbreaking. Many victims have fled from their homes in fear of what is happening. As fellow human beings, we cannot just stand and do nothing,” said Clarke. On top of being vocal about helping the victims of this war, the Macropay team has sent financial aid to Ukraine through a trusted non-government organization (NGO) called the Peace Action Training and Research Institute of Romania (PATRIR).
Macropay and PATRIR: Teaming Up for Relief Efforts
Clarke highlights that choosing the right hands to handle financial aid ensures that the money goes to those in need. PATRIR, the NGO that received the donation from Macropay, is known to have many years of global peace-making experience. Being based in Cluj, Romania, the NGO’s location is very optimal to help Ukrainians in the ongoing Ukraine crisis.
“We’ve chosen to send our financial support to PATRIR because we believe that they are geographically located to assist Ukrainian refugees,” Clarke also encourages other companies to follow the example set by Macropay. “A lot of help is currently needed. I believe that companies must also take part in supporting Ukraine through whatever means they can,” says Clarke.
PATRIR coordinates with teams across Romania and internationally to provide support for Ukrainian refugees. With the conviction and dedication to aid those affected by the war, this NGO lends its support to help bring people in affected areas to safety. According to PATRIR, the financial donations will be used to purchase supplies such as food, water, medicine and sleeping bags. Apart from this, the donations will be spent on transportation and other forms of support they may require.
