WorkHorse® Disposable Earplugs
WorkHorse® disposable earplugs are constructed of expandable foam for a comfortable seal. They’re available in two shapes: Tapered and Bell, for your workers’ preference. The Tapered earplugs are designed to fit most ear sizes and feature an NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) of 33 – the highest available rating in an earplug. The Bell-shaped plugs follow the natural contour of the ear canal and carry an NRR of 32. Both options are individually poly-bagged for enhanced hygiene and feature blue cords and orange earplugs for high visibility and safety in food processing environments.
WorkHorse® Reusable Earplugs
Our reusable WorkHorse® Earplugs have a four-flange design which conforms to the oval shape of the ear for a comfortable fit. They feature a stem, which allows for easy insertion into the ear, and carry an NRR of 27. Like the disposable options, they are individually poly bagged for hygienic purposes and feature blue cords and orange plugs for high visibility and safety purposes.
WorkHorse® Metal-Detectable Earplugs
All disposable and reusable WorkHorse® Earplugs are also available in metal-detectable options, providing the same NRR ratings and packaging benefits as their standard counterparts. The lineup also includes a T-Shaped metal-detectable earplug featuring a NRR of 31, designed for a more comfortable fit and built with an embedded ball bearing to ensure reliable metal detection throughout the entire earplug and cord — an important safety feature unique to WorkHorse and not offered by competitor offerings. This combination of visual clarity and full metal detectability delivers an added level of protection for food processing environments.
