Being named the second fastest-growing company in Europe is no easy feat, but it’s something that digital health and wellness company Kilo Health achieved back in 2021. Now, the market-leading global giants are helping startups find the same heights of financial success through their unique Co-found Program.
From 2024 to 2028, the global digital health industry is projected to grow by 9.16% and reach a market volume of $275 billion by the end of the period.
Coupled with the introduction of new technologies that support further telehealth advancements every year, from Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the Internet of Things (IoT), this means that startup companies hoping to make a digital health breakthrough must bring highly innovative ideas to the table – particularly if their goal is to achieve success in such a crowded and competitive market.
Alongside creativity, they’ll also need the operational capacity, marketing know-how, and, most importantly, the financial backing to transform their ideas into a valuable product. For those with the passion and drive to succeed, all of these essential elements can be found through the Kilo Health Co-found Program.
The Co-found Program is a collaborative initiative that helps budding entrepreneurs build market-leading digital health startup companies. Successful applicants can opt to either use their very own ideas, or jump straight into an existing project from Kilo Health’s extensive bank.
Whichever option they choose, Kilo Health will provide all the resources necessary for co-founders to lead the project and take their product through the development, launch, and growth stages. Along with branding and marketing support, this includes access to Kilo Health’s state-of-the-art research facilities, which have so far contributed to their portfolio of more than 30 in-house and invested products.
One of the program’s big success stories is Pulsetto, a wearable vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) device that is clinically proven to reduce stress and anxiety by 65.5%. The initial idea for the app came when Vitalijus Majorovas, a sleep biohacker and certified recovery coach, began searching for a solution to his wife’s severe cluster headaches.
After reading about the benefits of vagus nerve stimulation, connecting with Lithuanian VNS expert Povilas Sabaliauskas, and pitching the idea to Kilo Health CEO Tadas Burgaila, the concept of Pulsetto was born. For Burgaila, this was the perfect product to complement Kilo Health’s mission: sourcing solutions for the prevention of chronic disease.
As part of the Co-found Program, the idea for Pulsetto took just 9 months to become a reality, from brainstorming to creating the final product. With an initial €50,000 investment and a further €500,000 in 2022, Majorovas and his dedicated team of scientists were able to purchase more equipment, mass produce the device, and develop a mobile app.
The groundbreaking Pulsetto device is also now available for customers across the United States and Europe to purchase on Amazon, none of which could have been achieved without the financial investment and all-round support of Kilo Health Co-found.
