Did your iPhone suddenly quit on you and refuse to turn on? Before you turn your smartphone in at an Apple Store(which could take weeks), why not fix iPhone problems, do-it-yourself style, and save some money in the process? The fix might be as simple as these three tips.

Plug the iPhone to a Wall Adapter

Sometimes the issue that’s plaguing your iPhone can be as trivial as forgetting to charge your device. Connect it to a charger or a power bank and see if the display lights up or shows a ‘low battery’ signal. Try other adapters or wires and see if it does the trick.

Once the iPhone turns on, don’t unplug it from the wall just yet. Wait until you have at least 20% to do the task you need, then leave it to charge fully. Inspect your device for damages as well.

    Attempt a Restart

The process of restarting your iPhone might vary, but it generally involves pressing and holding the home or volume button for about five seconds or until the Apple startup logo appears. It’s a proven way to kick-start your iPhone before you attempt to do an ios18 upgrade. Consult your manual or check the exact method of restarting your iPhone model online.

    Connect to a Computer

When simple tips fail, it’s time to figure out what’s wrong by connecting your iPhone to a computer. The device will be recognized, and the supporting app will reveal a message or a restore solution. From there, you can either do a restore or follow the steps to get your iPhone back on and functional again.

After having your iPhone back on, you can attempt an ios upgrade and downgrade while it’s still connected to the computer.
