In the evolving and highly competitive business industry, an MBA can be your ticket to hop on the train toward success.

Why? Because staying competitive entails keeping yourself updated with the latest trends in this industry and exploring options, preventing yourself from being stagnant in one position.

Often a business degree will cover subjects such as accounting, management, finance, and entrepreneurship. The curriculum also addresses various business challenges to quantifying data sets and evaluating the financial impacts of decisions.

It is this wide range of subjects that reflects the multidisciplinary nature of an MBA. It makes you flexible in exploring various professional avenues and various job opportunities.

As an MBA graduate, you develop many valuable skills and explore areas of knowledge that allow you to impact the corporate world alongside the non-profitmaking world.

One of the most lucrative careers in the world requires an MBA degree, but not all promise substantial growth. One of the most overlooked avenues of career growth has been aviation, which has seen significant growth over the years.

It is driven by various factors, chief amongst which is demand, expanding global connectivity, and of course, marketing strategy – this is where you can really flourish if you’ve earned an MBA in Aviation.

So, lots of opportunities and avenues to explore, but don’t know where to start? Here is a list of things you can do with an MBA.

    1.   Accountant

There is an increasing demand for number-crunchers, and it does not seem to go down anytime soon. This financially focused role is usually a starting point for many business professionals.

As an accountant, you have to oversee the financial transactions of an organization and ensure the accurate collection of payment information. In addition, preparation for tax payments, auditing, and helping organizations maximize their profit will also come under your domain.

So if you think you can do well with numbers and make sense of them, accountancy could be a turning point for your career.

    2.   Senior Project Manager

Any product or service can only be successful when it is in the news – through marketing. It all comes down to how good and to what scale you advertise your product.

A marketing/project manager is responsible for managing services and products through various ways of promotion, such as; crafting promotional messages for media channels, relationships with media outlets, managing budgets for promotional campaigns, and testing out numerous publicizing strategies.

To be a competent marketing manager, you should be a good team player and have equal parts of creativity alongside the analytical component.

Most companies require previous work experience in the business world, either as a sales representative or public relations specialist.

According to Glassdoor, the estimated total pay for a Senior Project Manager is $126,057 per year in the United States area, with an average salary of $104,257 annually.

    3.   Business Teacher/Lecturer

The traditional nine-to-five job while sitting behind a desk working on spreadsheets sounds tedious and stressful to a whole lot. If you are one of those people, you should consider pursuing a career in education and teaching.

As an MBA graduate, you have the marketing, finance, management, and accounting knowledge needed to educate at a college level or above! With strong verbal communication and presenting stimulating lessons to students, you can become a successful business teacher.

According to a survey by Zippia,  Business teacher salaries typically range between $41,000 and $199,000 a year. Teaching will also give you command over your vocational skills and help you nurture the new generation with the required knowledge.

    4.   Healthcare Administrator

Healthcare administrators work behind the scenes at hospitals, doctors’ offices, and other healthcare departments and are responsible for training and recruiting medical staff. At the same time, they are also maintaining digital health records and communicating with health insurance providers.

As a healthcare administrator, you will interact with doctors and nurses regularly but rarely meet with the patients under care. Healthcare administrators shape the policies at the institute and work on improving patients’ experience.

With knowledge of marketing, finance, and accounting, they can build budget-friendly policies that are profitable to the hospital and feasible for the patient.

    5.   Sports Analyst or Consultant

With the emerging field of sports and the rising enthusiasm for the Olympics and international matches, there is a high demand for sports analysts. As a sports analyst, you will observe and compare different players and teams to analyze their performance under various circumstances.

You will leverage data to provide insights for player recruitment and strategic decision-making. To pursue your passion for sports with an MBA, you can take several positions, like sports manager, consultant, and entrepreneur.

    6.   Actuary

We often see various insurance advertisements stating statistics regarding death, injury, and illness alongside the money needed to cover each event. Do you know who calculates these statistics?

Actuaries calculate the probability of risky events that may occur in life, like accidents, fires, injuries, or debilitated health, when insurance companies would be liable to pay out claims. They carry out complex analyses of scenarios based on demographic profiles, utilizing spreadsheets, statistical software, and databases.
