Dragon Ball Legends is packed to the brim with all sorts of Dragon Ball characters. Hundreds of them, in fact. That made it especially difficult to put together this list of the best Dragon Ball Legends characters 2024. However, we’ve done our best. These DBL characters are amazing, and we reckon you’ll have a ton of fun with them.
Remember – all the characters are unlocked in the same way. It is all about random chance. If you want to stand the best chance of having these amazing legends on your account, then you should get a Dragon Ball Legends account for sale from U7BUY.
SP Golden Frieza (Green)
Right at the top of this list, we have SP Golden Frieza (Green). When it comes to Blast Attack, this is one of the top 100 legends. The HP and strike attack isn’t too shabby either. One of the main highlights of Frieza is the stacking damage buffs, which can help the whole team. He is also tremendous at debuffing the enemy, making it even easier to knock the opposition out. His main feature is the Ultimate Arts card, which can attack the whole opposition.
SP Perfect Cell (Purple)
For Strike Attack, SP Perfect Cell (Purple) is a top 70 DBL character, and top 100 in terms of HP. This means that he can keep going and going when he is trying to keep the competitors at bay. One of his main abilities allows you to prevent the other team from reviving, which can be awesome during the dying throes of the battle. He can also pump up overall team damage, helping you get through to the finish line.
The only downside is that he doesn’t really get anywhere without stars. There is a 55% damage reduction ability, but you’ll only get there when you build up enough stars, and this will probably take you a while.
UL Super Gogeta (Blue)
UL Super Gogeta (Blue) has a whopping amount of strike damage. He is one of the top 50 in the game, in fact. He is top 100 for HP too. In fact, he is top 100 for all stats, which easily makes UL Super Gogeta (Blue) as one of the best legends in the game. You’re almost certainly going to want to add him to your team as soon as possible.
One of the main advantages of this legend is that he can use the Ultimate Arts Card twice which, at the time of writing, is the only legend in the game that can do that. He is awesome at the combos too.
When it comes to keeping the enemy at bay, he can gain up to 70% of damage reduction. Once an ally has been defeated, his power shoots up, making it easier to gain the edge over your opponents.
SP Ultra Instinct Goku (Red)
This is one of the newest DBL fighters in the game, so people are still trying to sus him out. However, as with all Goku versions, there’s an immense amount of power there. Many people claim that he is perfect if you want an ‘instant win’, since he basically plays himself. He has great attack, and awesome damage reduction. In fact, he can counter all blast and strike arts, while adding a counter or two in there for good measure. The only downside is that he doesn’t have Ki recovery, which does make dealing with some of the fights a bit trickier.
SP LL Super Saiyan 3 Goku (Dragon Fist) (Green)
Many people claim that this version of Goku is one of the best offensive fighters in the game, and we agree. As soon as he hits the field, he will be dishing out a ton of damage. He’ll also ramp up the damage output as long as he is kept in play. On top of this, you have a 60% damage reduction, so you won’t have to worry too much about the other fighters coming close to you. Every time he dishes out a Strike and Blast Arts, he’ll even heal himself. If you want to win games with ease, then you’ll almost certainly want to have this version of Goku in your team. He can be a bit tricky to get hold of but, trust us, he is a member that you’ll be using a lot.
The only major downside is that why he does have a good ability to combat the opposing team, the ever increasing power of the opposing fighters does mean that he is nowhere near as powerful as he was a few months ago, and this is likely to continue. Thankfully, the fact that he is pumping out so much damage means that this may not end up being a problem for most people.
SP Final Form Cooler (Red)
Finally, we have this rather epic looking character. He has been in the game since November 2019, and more and more people are now starting to discover just how cool Final Form Cooler actually is. This is because he is one of the best Dragon Ball Legends offensive characters in the game, and can deliver a 2-timer count lock-in every time he ends up dropping a Strike Arts. He isn’t the best defensively, but he should be so offensive that most people won’t bother too much about this part. As soon as he enters the battle, he gets 130% strike damage, and 50% extra to the very first Strike Arts he lands, which means that the other fighters will be left trembling.
Remember – this is just a small smattering of the fighters currently available in Dragon Ball Legends. There are so many Dragon Ball characters in the game that you might find one even better for you. The key is to experiment with characters. The game is so well balanced that you can even use DBL characters not on this list and still have a decent chance of winning.
