Ordering food online is as easy as it sounds. However, if you want your food to arrive on time or have a satisfying meal there are a few tricks you’ll need to know.

    Order Ahead

Generally speaking, you should allow anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes for the food delivery to get to your doorstep. This means you shouldn’t wait until you’re home to order food on the internet because that would entail waiting.

A good trick is to order ahead of time, such as when you’re near your house to achieve perfect timing. In cases when they arrive sooner, you can just leave a note to leave the food on the doorstep.

    Don’t Wait Until You’re Hungry

Being in a state of hunger means you’ll be making unhealthy choices and probably ruin your diet. If you’re planning to order in, make sure to do it before your stomach rumbles and make it a point to choose something healthy, even if it’s a side dish.

    Wait for Deals and Promos

Save money by ordering food from Accra restaurants and cafes that are having promotions, such as coupons and discounts. This way you can enjoy more and even try out new dishes, for example.

Food delivery services will usually have free delivery options or pick-up points that shave off a few dollars in the process. Instead of paying full price, you can become a wise consumer and take advantage of promos as they come.

    Be Prepared

You probably don’t like to be kept waiting, and this goes the same for delivery personnel. When you know that they’ll be arriving in 15 to 20 minutes, don’t leave the house or go on an errand. Sit patiently and wait for the food and receive it at the door.

If you’re feeling generous, make sure to tip or leave a good rating.
