Artificial Intelligence is now present in several areas of our lives, and much of it derived from the progress obtained from simpler models such as games.
Still disregarded by many, the link between entertainment and how technology fills our lives in the XXI Century will continue its path untroubled, as more exciting novelties will be brought to our lives as if purely by magic.

A Virtual World Awaits
We’re still in the early days when it comes to the evolution of entertainment, but how Virtual Reality (VR) shapes the future sure seems exciting. Known mostly for its presence in the gaming universe, VR has swiftly entered several other fields, including, for example, medicine, while allowing for complex surgeries to take place remotely.
At the same time, the way we perceive entertainment is also about to change dramatically. Think of yourself sitting in the middle of an action movie or just by the football pitch during a great match. All of this without ever setting your foot out of the house. A manufactured reality may soon reshape areas as distinct as live music and even social interaction.

It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that some of the most outstanding gaming products belong to casinos. This industry has always been about technology and entertainment. Hollywood Pays Attention to Tech
Think of Avatar, Titanic, or even the recent Star Wars movies. If a few decades ago, Sci-fi relied on masterfully crafted props, now it’s all in the hands of masterful designers and coders.
It’s almost mindblowing how many of the movies we get to watch and become excited about these days don’t take place in reality. We’ve only just started to witness bringing actors and actresses to life in what is a morally defying process – but one that impresses, nevertheless.
As technology and entertainment develop side-by-side, we’ll have a more challenging time defining the lines separating reality from fiction. As long as it’s fun and tasteful, we don’t seem to find much trouble with it!
The evolution of entertainment will indeed not be restricted to its grounds. There is a broader field to cover and one that influences many of the closely linked areas to the way we live.
In only a couple of decades, many of those developments derived from entertainment shaped how we communicate, the way we perceive entertainment itself, how we work and process much of our daily tasks.
Even though many may disregard the impact of the entertainment industry in today’s reality, that won’t stop that link from outlasting us all whilst still delivering innovation to problems we never even realized existed.
