It’s difficult to limit internet time especially during these times. However, too much is never good for one’s health, and it pays to be responsible.

Here are several ways on how you can limit internet usage.

Set a Schedule for Online Activities

You will have to be disciplined enough to not look at your mobile phone or computer all the time. One way to do this is to either set a timer on the minutes allowed per sitting, or setting a schedule to when you can browse, chat or play online games such as satta matka.

Either way, you have to follow the rules, e.g., one hour in the morning and two in the afternoon, or a schedule of 2 to 5pm, for example.

    Keep a Tracker

The internet can be an excellent tool if used responsibly. However, you can fall into a routine of constantly checking your email, social media or playing an online game for hours on end.

The best way to gauge whether you’re going online for too long is to get an app or a paper and keeping track of your online activity. When you’ve had too much at just the start of the week then you can limit the rest to 1-hour increments.

    Plan Other Hobbies

To maintain a good balance you should do other things that can keep you healthy.

Exercise is important, even when it’s done inside the house. You can distract yourself by taking up simple exercises you can do around the house. If you have other hobbies then allocate some time to developing it further.

    Get Up and Get Moving

It’s not healthy to sit for too long. Experts recommend getting up and moving about for 10 to 15 minutes every hour. You should observe proper posture and remember to rest your eyes every now and then.
