Moving to a condo is similar to moving to a new house, albeit with slight changes due to the smaller floor size. If you’re planning to move into The Chuan Park, then it’s best to know and understand the timeline for when you could start living in the condo unit.

    Finalizing the Condo Agreement

All the aspects of buying a condo have to be processed and signed off before you can officially move there. Depending on the realtor or the condo building owner, this can take several weeks to a few months. Due diligence should be exercised here as a condo is a huge investment in time and money. As a rule, it’s best to finalize things before you plan on moving there.

    Beginning to Pack

Once the legal and financial aspects are completed, then it’s time to map out a plan to move to your new condo. Packing is perhaps the most time-consuming of all the moving tasks since you’ll have to pack your belongings and unpack once you get there. You may not need every item though, so consider decluttering or putting the items you don’t need in storage.

    Setting Up the New Condo

When moving to a new condo you’ll be presented with two choices- to move your existing furniture or buy them new to fit in with the theme. Appliances can undergo the same process- you could have a new AC installed for efficient cooling and heating, as well as a bigger TV for the new space.

    The House Move

The time will finally come when you’re ready for the house move. Make the move easier by planning short stops on long trips, allowing for adequate time in travel, and packing all the important things in a bag you carry with you.
