When people grow tired of the shelves full of dietary supplements failing to live up to their promises, they can try a revolutionary new approach to healthy living from xNARA. This company provides a groundbreaking approach to personalized supplements by delving into each user’s unique, individual genetics to deliver specific solutions and a unique formula to each and every customer.

Why dietary and weight-loss supplements must be uniquely personal

Humans display a wide range of genetic variability (even the genetic blueprints of identical twins can differ due to somatic mutations in the immune system). Today, researchers are learning that each individual’s genetics impacts the healthy choices he or she makes regarding diet and exercise.

The team of experts at xNARA realized that one-size-fits-all healthcare approaches fail to yield results, which is why they’ve created a line of customizable supplements called Complements. Each custom supplement plan can include any combination of 125 highly active, Swiss-sourced vitamins, minerals, amino acids, probiotics and prebiotics, bioactive compounds, and herbal extracts — all of which are clinically proven to treat certain health needs. Through this approach, each user receives the exact combination their body needs for optimum health and wellbeing.

When designing these personalized supplement plans, xNARA asks users to complete an assessment concerning their overall health profiles, lifestyle routines, and health goals. In addition to the online assessment, customers personalize their supplements further by completing a genetic and gut health profile.

Insights into a person’s metabolism enable xNARA’s team to create a custom supplement regiment based on how they absorb nutrients. Genetic information allows xNARA to design proactive remedies for individual health risks. In a matter of mere days, users will receive their personalized supplements in a convenient 30-day supply of ready-to-drink and pleasantly flavored powder sachets.

    How genetics impact dietary choices

Whether we like it or not, it’s clear that their genes play a role in the foods they choose to eat or avoid. This is one reason that xNARA creates dietary supplements based on each person’s individual genetics to deliver specific vitamins and minerals.

In a recent study linking a person’s genes to nutrition, researchers cataloged over 500 genes that appear to impact the foods people eat — some of which were involved in the sensory pathways for taste, smell, and touch. Researchers believe they affect a person’s preference for particular meals, and even trigger the brain’s reward response.

This wide-ranging study employed genetic data from 500,000 participants in the UK’s Biobank to prove that genetics significantly impacts a person’s diet. In fact, by the study’s conclusion, researchers were able to link hundreds of genes with dietary patterns, like high fish intake or fruit consumption. In addition to patterns, the study identified around 300 genes directly associated with eating individual foods.

How genetics impact fitness levels and the body’s response to exercise

In the quest for healthy living, diet and exercise go hand in hand. Along with the nutritional supplements from xNARA, customers receive access to a custom dashboard with an exercise program based on their personal information.

Just like diet, exercise is greatly influenced by a person’s genetics. In fact, a recent study finds that individual genetics explains as much as 72% of the variation in response to physical activity.

For the purpose of this study, experts gathered data from 3,012 adults between the ages of 18 and 55 who led sedentary routines and did not engage in regular physical activity before the investigation. Researchers wanted to identify genetic factors that influence muscular strength, cardiovascular fitness, and anaerobic power.

Using information from 24 trials, researchers identified 13 genes that play a role in exercise results, and demonstrated that genetics accounted for as much as 72% of the variation in people’s responses to muscle-strengthening activities. Furthermore, they discovered that genetics are behind a 44% variation in their responses to cardiovascular fitness workouts and a 10% difference in their responses to anaerobic activity. Researchers claim the remaining percentage can be attributed to environmental factors such as food, nutrition, rehabilitation, and injuries.

These two groundbreaking studies reveal the potential of DNA testing in targeted dietary plans and workouts. The new era of health offers a personalized approach. With Complements from xNARA, customers replace cabinets full of pills designed for no one in particular, with one supplement crafted to meet individual nutrition and fitness needs.
