Learning how to care for indoor plants is very important for them to grow lush and healthy. Adding these plants also has its own benefits, like giving more oxygen and beautifying the space around your Orie condo. So here are some plant care tips you should know.

    Research Your Plant’s Light Requirements

When researching your plant’s light requirements, there are 3 things you need to research. These are duration, quality, and intensity. The intensity of the light is based on the manufacture of its food, stem length, color, and flowering. This means that plants that grow in very little light grow to be thinner and weaker over time.

    Use Clean and Filtered Water

Using clean and filtered is very important to let the plant live. To reduce the chances of harmful chemicals from entering the water, let your water stay for at least twenty-four hours before watering your plants. The recommended water is distilled in rainwater because it is pure and doesn’t have lots of minerals.

Check Your Plant Every Now and Then

Checking your plant to see if it is still healthy every now and then has its benefits. If a plant is not strong, it will send some signs to show that it is not healthy. So here are some ways a plant shows it’s not healthy.

    • Leaves are wilted
    • Leaves drop
    • Yellow leaves
    • Brown spots

    Fertilize as Needed

Apply the fertilizer around the plant. For vegetables, put them in a strip parallel to the planting row. You should also know what type of fertilizer, when to fertilize, and more. We need to fertilize to make the plant healthy, giving it the nutrients needed. The best fertilizers are nitrogen-based ones. It will help produce root development, leaf formation, and boost your indoor plants’ immune systems.
